???????? See you soon Kathmandu, on the way to India!
Описание
I left Kathmandu not that much happy, both because I was only in Nepal for 15 days and because I could have visited much more.
But there is a part of India that I still want to discover, the last 6 states that I still miss… I will return to Nepal in September… but first things first!
From Kathmandu to the Indian border it's only 150km, but obviously slow… very slow and beautiful road!
overcoming the passes at an altitude of 2500m I consider a bit like a gentle climb nowadays, after Ladakh passes.
Then a kind fog makes everything more romantic.
But the fog turns into rain and the rain into darkness.
So the roof where I found refuge becomes my nest for one night, with the kind hosts who give me human warmth and feed me with boiled rice… I really appreciated but sometimes I confess I miss bit pizza and pasta. Hehehe
The following day a gentle sunrise warms my tent and a Vespa-ride can begin
I mark the territory with my sticker and then down to the hot sweltering Hindu-Nepali plains.
I will miss the mountains... but first a casual meeting with this Hindu pilgrim, to whom I instinctively want to offer him some food and water. it must be the fact that we see behind every traveler what was our nature as nomadic animals in search of food and better conditions, which is now days lost in our society.
I believe that we instinctively identify ourselves with the wanderings of others, perhaps to try to be part of them in some way and find our roots through them. Boh, sometimes I think about it, at least every time that perfect strangers offer me food and give hospitality (almost every day).
And then this beautiful iron bridge, of which Nepal is full. Those who follow me already know that I love bridges. After all, it cannot be otherwise. In the end human beings are divided into two: who builds bridges and who walls.
Wow, today Lavarra is inspired… haha
And then i return to the plains, where physiognomic features change, like food, religion, culture, climate… in a word: every thing everything.
Nepalese customs. With the customs officer taking it easy… very relaxed… even too much!!
And then India, which I'll tell you about in the next video!!
