45- year-old Women found murdered in Moran

A 45-year-old woman was on Saturday (May 1) found murdered in her own residence at Piyoli Nagar, Moran under the Dibrugarh district.

The victim has been identified as Pramila Dutta (45), wife of business man Jibon Dutta.

As per reports, the victim Pramila Dutta was at home alone, Jibon Dutta and their son were at their business place.

When victim's husband Jibon Dutta came home in afternoon he found her dead in the bathroom.

It is suspected that she was allegedly murdered with a sharp -edged weapon.

Police is investigating the matter.

Speaking to the media, police said, "We reached the spot and found the body of the woman. We are investigating the matter."
