Animal Cruelty | Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste Marie & Algoma District

Crime Stoppers and the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police are requesting your assistance in identifying suspect(s) involved in a Cruelty to Animals occurrence.

On August 28, 2023, shortly after 4:00 p.m., police responded to an incident of animal cruelty on a side road off the Red Rock Dam Road north of Iron Bridge within the Municipality of Huron Shores.

Located was a large metal cage covered with a pool liner and tarp, inside were the remains of puppies. It was difficult to determine the number of puppies due to the severe deterioration but they are believed to be black and brown in colour. No food or water bowls were observed inside suggesting that the puppies were left there to suffer and die.
