Beasriver/Mandi/Autbridge

The iron bridge built over the Beas river on the reservoir of Larji Dam at Aut in Mandi district was lost to flood on July 9. This bridge served to connect Mandi and Kullu districts. People of Banjar, Sainj and Balichowki tehsil used to come to Aut Bazaar through this bridge. But now due to the breakdown of this bridge, people have to travel an additional distance of 6 kilometers to come out. After 100 days of the disaster, the people of Aut Bazaar are very unhappy with no steps being taken towards the reconstruction of this bridge.
