Blackwater Creek to Iron Bridge and Back 2/20/2021

It was an early start to the day arriving at Seminole State Forest to paddle Blackwater Creek. We opted to go upstream and past the bridge. We made it about a mile or so past the bridge before it was too clogged to go any further. The weather was perfect and the forest and creek beautiful. You can tell spring is around the corner with the vivid green colors from the new growth on the trees. Truly a gem in our own backyard to have such a close and beautiful creek to submerse ourselves in.
