Climate Protesters Spray Orange Powder Over Stonehenge
Just Stop Oil protesters sprayed orange powder onto Stonehenge, the iconic megalithic structure near Salisbury, on Wednesday, June 19.

Footage released by Just Stop Oil shows the action, which was part of its campaign to end the extraction and burning of oil, gas, and coal by 2030.
The action comes shortly the summer solstice, which is traditionally celebrated by thousands at Stonehenge.

The group said that the orange powder paint would “wash away with the rain."

Wiltshire Police had not responded to requests for comment.
