Delhi Minister Atishi visits the Old Iron Bridge Relief Camp in Delhi, takes stock of situation

Speaking to media while visiting the flood-affected areas such as Old Iron Bridge in New Delhi, Delhi PWD Minister, Atishi on July 16 said, “We are near the old railway bridge…people evacuated from Yamuna Pushta are brought here. It's been four days, we didn't expect it to last this long. That’s why we are now shifting them to nearby government school so that they can get better basic amenities. There have been many problems in camps for the last few days, so today I have come with the officials. Strict instructions are given to them so that best facilities can be provided to the people, she added.
The Old Iron Bridge at Gandhi Nagar were inundated by water from the Yamuna river that spilled onto the streets.
