#Nedumkayam_forest# is located 15 km from Nilambur in #Malappuram_district# and is a part of the #Nilgiri_Biosphere# Reserve. The moment you enter #Nedumkayam_rainforest# you feel like the humdrum of daily life slowly melting away and a forest atmosphere overwhelming you.  Visitors can relish the lush greenery, the fresh air, clear water streams and the rare species of #flora_and_fauna# of the rainforest. After crossing an iron bridge across#cherupuzha# we enter nedumkayam.

Beyond this, special permission from the forest department is required. this bridge was designed and constructed by Mr E.S.Dawson (British) before his accidental death at the same location in 1938.

Nedumkayam is 18 km from Nilambur town, is noted specially for its rich rain forests. The wooden rest house built here by the British offers a panoramic view of the elephants and deers grazing in the forest near by . Heavy restrictions are imposed as a measure to save the existing forest land. An elephant taming center is also here. The place Nilambur including Nedumkayam is selected for developing as Kerala's second eco - tourism destination.

Adyanpara Falls is a cascading Waterfall  in#kanjirappuzha#in the#Kurmbalangodu_village# of Nilambur taluk in Kerala. It is 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from Nilambur town, and attracts tourists from various parts of Kerala. This is a seasonal waterfall. During Summer, water flow is low.This waterfall is of a natural cascading style as the waterfall descends over the rock.

Om Kurishu Paara is a mountain located in #Edivanna_village# around 15 km from Nilambur in Malappuram district of Kerala. There is a chain above the rocks to help the accent. A Cross and an Ohm symbol have been placed at the top of the hill. The place offers an ethereal atmosphere that refreshes the body and mind. You have to climb around 500 meters to reach the top. The path might be fully covered with fog and the view from the top is amazing which makes you forget about the distance you traveled. You will find this place on the way to #Kakkadampoyil# from Nilambur. Kakkadampoyil is just 8 km away from this place
