This amazing catkin in Aftabnagar of the capital city Dhaka, Bangladesh. Miles for miles catkin. Rampura Canal or Begunbari Canal on the southern side of Banasree and on the northern side of Aftabnagar. I have been living in Banashree with my family for 13 years. 10/12 years ago, this catkin could be seen by crossing the Rampura Canal from my house and stepping into Aftabnagar. It could be seen from my house. But now there are only buildings and buildings in those places. But there are still catkin in empty plots. And now the catkin seen in the video is at a distance of 40/50 taka ayay rickshaw fare from the previous place. 12 years ago many areas here were just wetland and wetland.
From Bansree F Block to Meradia Bazar, crossing the Rampura canal through different bridges, catkin will be visible once you step into Aftabnagar. But if you want to see dense catkin you have to go to Barai Tala, Amtala, Madrasa Road, China Project or Washer Water Treatment Plant area.
Aftab Nagar started from the north side adjacent to Rampura Bridge. There is Zahurul Islam City/Aftabnagar Gate. If you enter through the gate and take an auto rickshaw/carriage and cross the former pair of bridges/iron bridge, you will see catkin.
