SWEET ALCO MUSIC! WNY&P 637 631 638, Chasing DFT-1 north. 6/01/2009

Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the sweet sounds of these old ALCO locomotives.

We chase the northbound DFT-1, Driftwood Turn, 6/01/2009 on the Buffalo Line up over Keating Summit with motors 637-631-638 in charge. Great sounds from this old brutes. Locations are at MP117, just north of Emporium, Keating Summit from the old 1881 iron bridge, Turtle Point after dropping off cars, and South Eldred, where we meet the southbound local OL-1 in the siding with C430 WNY&P #431 in charge.

The last clip is a teaser for a future video chasing the southbound DFT-2 the next day. Plenty of Alco noise, especially switching out and picking up cars at Port Allegheny, in dynamics coming off Keating, some pacing video on the way to Driftwood.
