Lets go back in time when the Ironbridge cooling towers dominated the Shropshire skyline.

In 2019 it was announced that the cooling towers at Ironbridge power station would be demolished in December that year.
This was the perfect window for people to photography and record these Shropshire monuments before they go.
Telford Ultimate Guide Walks created a series of walks called - Farewell to the Towers
These walks were undertaken during 2019 until the final demolition of the towers.
One cold day in October we were joined by BBC Radio Shropshire`s Kate Tebby as she joined us on the final walk. We head above the stunning Benthall edge and then across the river to Strethill.
Join us as we look at the various views of these mighty structures
