The Ironmen & Severn Gilders -- Ironmen dance at Day of Dance in Stourbridge 20/05/2023
Описание
During this dance one of the Ironmen had a fall right by the paramedics and the dancers danced on with a substitute.
The Ironmen & Severn Gilders come from Ironbridge in Shropshire, England.
We are a joint team that perform two distinct traditions of dancing and some joint dances just to show that we can!
The Severn Gilders are a women's team who were named after the workers - the Gilders - who put the gold decorative edging on the china made in the famous Coalport factory that was located on the banks of the River Severn. Our other team colours of red, black represent the fire and coal of the furnaces as a tribute to Ironbridge, a World Heritage site and one of the birthplaces of the industrial revolution.
The Day of Dance in Stourbridge is organised by Bedcote Morris who are based in Stourbridge.
