Mini bio of the life of actor Johnny Sheffield, who is an American actor who, between 1939 and 1947, played Boy in the Tarzan film series and, between 1949 and 1955, played Bomba the Jungle Boy. Johnny Sheffield was born John Matthew Sheffield Cassan on April 11, 1931, in Pasadena, California. His father was the actor Reginald Sheffield who began as a child star and later turned to character acting. Johnny appeared at age seven on Broadway in the original cast of "On Borrowed Time".
