Here's the Class 800 going from Paddington to Reading at top speed. This hurt my arms to film but the journey was worth it.

The kid in the video eventually stops talking, so you can hear the taps open as the train gets up to speed. The IET gets up to 125mph on the Great Western Main Line, so enjoy the high-speed action.

In retrospect I definitely sat on the wrong side, though it was still nice. If I do go again - and I do plan to go again - I'll sit on the right hand side.
