Ironbridge Shropshire England

The small town of Ironbridge is at the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge, which the bridge spans across. This part of Shropshire was a big Iron smelting area back in the 18th and 19th centuries. By the mid-20th century, the settlements and industries of the gorge were in decline.
