Kudia Ghat & Gomti River Evening Scenes| 4K Lucknow Walking Tour | April 2021
Описание
Exploring Kudia Ghat on a warm but pleasent April evening in Lucknow. Situated on the banks of Gomti river, which is lucknow's lifeline, a quick stroll around the ghat is quite pleasing. Gomti river is not really the cleanest in this stretch of the ghats but several cleanliness drives are regularly conducted in order bring back some life to this dying river. Put on your headphones and enjoy!

ABOUT KUDIYA GHAT
Kudia Ghat (Or Kuriya Ghat), one of Lucknow's most prominent ghats, is situated in peaceful surroundings and is one of the city's most ancient and sacred places. Saint Kaundilya is said to have founded his Ashram here in ancient times, and the ghat is named after him. In 1990, the ghat was renovated. A Shiva Temple constructed a century ago can be seen here. The ghat is close to Lucknow's many popular heritage attractions, including an old Iron Bridge (Harding Bridge or Pakka Pul), Husainabad Clock Tower, Rumi Darwaza, and Imambara, all of which contribute to the ghat's significance. This ghat comes alive in the evenings with people coming here to take a walk and enjoy the peace and quiet.
