& is now open as a Covid-19 Vaccination Centre
If you have a vaccination appointment here at the Arena the information below should help make your visit to the venue as easy and stress-free as possible - please always check this page & our Facebook, Twitter & Instagram before you travel so that you have the most up to date information.
If using public transport the venue has its own tramstop or if travelling by car there is free on site parking with disabled parking spaces - click here for all traffic & travel information.
Access the car park via Broughton Lane - there will be signage & marshals to direct you to the most suitable space available in Car Park B when you arrive & you will be directed from your car to Entrance B.
Please attend your appointment alone, unless you require assistance. If you do need assistance, please bring only one support person.
If you require a wheelchair or mobility aid please bring this with you – the venue only has a very limited number that can be loaned out.
Wear a mask before entering the building & for the duration of your visit. Please also use the hand sanitiser available when you enter.
The appointment time is your time of arrival. Please do not arrive early & do not enter the building until 5 minutes before your appointment time.
There will be security bag checks on entry, so please limit what you bring with you to assist with these checks and to prevent any delay to your entry.
Your appointment will take approximately 30 minutes. Please bear with us, we aim to vaccinate everyone as quickly as possible & limit waiting time as much as we can.
Refreshments will not be available from the venue. We aim to keep your appointment as short as possible so please don’t bring food and/or drink with you.
Toilet facilities will be available once inside the venue which will be cleaned regularly to ensure hygiene & safety standards are met.
We will do everything possible to ensure this doesn’t happen but there could be times when you may be required to wait outside so please bring appropriate clothing.
Please ensure you follow social distancing guidelines at all times, including after your vaccination. The vaccine protects you from illness but you may still be able to transmit COVID to other people.
The vaccine is the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine - more vaccine information available here.
Please note: Vaccination is by appointment only; it is not a walk-in service. Please do not attend if you do not have an appointment. We cannot vaccinate people without an appointment or arrange appointments on site.
The vaccination centre is run by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, but if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment please don’t contact the hospital. Call the number provided on your booking letter.
