Winter Bike Review, how has it held up?

A few months ago I completely rebuilt my winter bike. Since then the bike has got a lot of use. Winter is nearing its end, so it is time for a review. How has this bike held up? What has worked well and what would I change? I talk about the key points and go for a ride on rough, partially snow covered trails. You'll learn about the advantages of friction shifters, basic derailleurs and a six speed freewheel. I also tell you how I deal with the corrosion resulting from road salt and share the disadvantages this bike has, examples are the two speed crank set and the home made studded tires. I also give an honest assessment of my DIY paint job. Anyone on a budget could build a winter bike like this one.
